Projects and tasks for church staff.
Eklo Tasks is where church staff run their projects: Easter, building work, a ministry launch. Each project has a list and a board, tasks have subtasks and can repeat, and the approvals waiting on you sit in the same place.
Replaces Asana
Asana is built for any company. Eklo Tasks sits next to your church’s requests and chat: an approved request can land in a project as a task, and any task can be shared into a conversation. Asana Starter lists at $10.99 per person a month (October 2026). Eklo is one flat price per church, with Forms and Chat included.
Projects
A project belongs to a team, or to one person.
Team projects
Everyone on the team can work in a team’s project. Add people from outside the team when you need them.
Personal projects
A personal project starts as yours. Only you, the people you share it with, and your workspace’s owners and admins can see it.
Comments and @mentions
Comment on a task and @mention someone who can see the project. They start watching it and get a notification.
Share into Chat
Share a task into a channel or a direct message. The card shows where it stands now, not when you shared it.
List and board
Every project has both. Switch between them at any time.
List
Sort by task, priority, assignee, due date or last update, and mark a task done from its row.
Board
Drag a card between columns. Moving it into a Done column marks the task done.
Stages you name
Set the columns of a project’s board, like Planning, Booked and Done.
My Tasks
Everything assigned to you, grouped into Overdue, Today, This week, Later and No date.
Subtasks and templates
Break work into steps, and save the work you repeat.
Subtasks
Break a task into steps. The task shows how many of them are done.
Task templates
Save a task and its subtasks, with blanks to fill in each time, like the family’s name or the event date.
Due dates that follow
A template can set its due date days, weeks or months before or after another date, like three days before the event.
Church starters
Start from Sunday service prep, New volunteer onboarding, Special event, Baptism Sunday or Guest follow-up.
Repeating tasks
For work that comes round again, like printing the bulletins every week.
Every day, week or month
Repeat a task every day, every week or two, every month, or every so many days, weeks or months.
The next one comes when you finish
Mark it done and Eklo adds the next one, due that much later, with the same title, description, assignee and priority.
Undo if you didn’t mean it
Reopen the task and the next one goes away, as long as nobody has started on it.
The approvals inbox
Requests waiting on your decision sit in Tasks, beside your work.
Waiting on me
Each request waiting on you, how long it has waited and the step it’s at. The number on Tasks counts them.
Decide in one place
Read the answers, approve, decline with a reason or ask a question, then go to the next one.
My submissions
Follow your own requests: waiting on someone, waiting on your answer, approved or declined.
From request to task
A form’s workflow can create a task linked to its request. The task shows the request’s status, and says so if it’s declined.
Questions
What is Eklo Tasks?
Eklo Tasks is where church staff run their projects: Easter, building work, a ministry launch. Each project has a list and a board, tasks have subtasks and can repeat, and the approvals waiting on you sit in the same place.
Can tasks repeat?
Yes. A task can repeat every day, every week or two, every month, or every so many days, weeks or months. When you mark it done, Eklo adds the next one.
Can a request become a task?
Yes. A form’s workflow can create a task in a project when a request comes in or once it’s approved. The task links to the request and shows its status.
Who can see a project?
A closed or private team’s projects are for the team and anyone added to them. An open team’s projects are open to everyone in the workspace. A personal project is for you and the people you share it with. Workspace owners and admins can see every project. Guests see only the projects they’re added to.
Does Eklo replace Asana?
For church staff, yes. Eklo Tasks has projects in a list and a board, subtasks, templates and repeating tasks, next to your requests and chat, at one flat price per church that also covers Forms and Chat.
