Workspace settings in Eklo: your church's name, logo, campuses and AI
Renaming your church's workspace, its logo and color, multiple locations, campuses, custom fields and the AI switch, for owners and admins.
Last updated
An Eklo workspace is your church's own space for requests, tasks and chat, and its settings are where owners and admins set the church's name, logo and color, campuses, custom fields and AI features.
Click Settings in the left rail, or (owners and admins) click your avatar and choose Workspace settings. On a phone, tap More in the bar along the bottom, then Settings.
Most workspace settings are for owners and admins. Everyone else lands on their own Profile, and also sees People. The other settings pages ask them to check with an admin.
General
- Church name: as shown in the sidebar and in emails. Up to 120 characters. Click Save.
- Church logo and color: shown beside your church's name on your
public forms, answer links and invitations.
- Upload logo takes a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF of 2 MB or less; a square image works best. Remove logo takes it off.
- Church color fills your church's initials when there's no logo, and
tints its invitation card. Pick a color or type a hex code like
#4F46E5, then click Save color. Use Eklo's color goes back to the default. Your forms keep their own colors.
- Multiple locations: turn on Our church meets in more than one location to add campuses to the Tasks sidebar and give each team a campus.
- AI features: Allow AI features switches Ask Eklo, the AI assistant, on or off for everyone. See Ask Eklo.
The workspace's web address (its URL handle) can't be changed.
Campuses
Settings → Campuses lists your church's locations.
- Click Add campus.
- Enter the Campus name and, optionally, its address.
- Click Create campus.
Use the pencil icon to edit a campus, or the trash icon to delete it.
Custom fields
Custom fields are extra details your church tracks, like "Room", "Budget code" or "Ministry area". You can use them as Properties on tasks and as questions on forms.
Who: owners and admins.
- Open Settings → Custom fields and click New field.
- Enter the Label and choose the Type: Short text, Long text, Number, Date, Date & time, Dropdown, Multi-select, Yes / No or Currency.
- Choose the Scope: All campuses, or One campus.
- For Dropdown and Multi-select, add the Options. Optionally add Help text and tick Required.
- Click Create field.
Then:
- On tasks: in a project's settings, turn the field on under Custom fields. See Tasks & projects.
- On forms: in the form builder, add it from the Custom fields section. See Forms.
Deleting a field hides the values already filled in on tasks.
Usage
Settings → Usage shows how many members and guests your workspace has, how much storage it's using, and how much of this month's AI budget your church has used. The AI budget covers Ask Eklo and resets on the 1st of each month, in your workspace's time zone. See Ask Eklo.
Billing and tax exemption
Who: only the owner can see billing or change the plan, billing details or tax exemption. Everyone else sees who to ask.
Settings → Billing has three sections:
- Plan shows your plan, whether it's paid up and when it renews. Manage billing opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can change plans, update the card and billing address, see invoices or cancel. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- Tax exemption shows your church's status (Waiting for review, Verified or Not accepted) and the proof you sent. If Eklo's staff didn't accept it, their note says why. Drop a new file on the section, or click choose a different file, to send it for review. New proof always goes back for review, so sales tax may be added until it's verified again.
- Plans lists each plan's monthly price and what it includes.
Prices exclude sales tax. Once your church's exemption is verified, new invoices don't include it.
Other settings
- People: members, guests and invitations. See People, roles & invitations.
- Teams are added and managed in the Teams directory, not in Settings. See Teams.
- Single sign-on: verify your email domain and connect your identity provider. See Single sign-on.
- Data: export the workspace, or delete it. See Data export & deletion.
- Profile: your own photo, name, title, phone, passkeys, notification
settings and account. Click the camera on your avatar to upload a photo
(PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 5 MB). People in your workspaces see it.
Remove photo takes it off. See Signing in and
Notifications.
- Leave workspace takes you out of this church's workspace straight away, and your Ask Eklo conversations, files and memories there are deleted. Messages and comments you wrote stay. The owner can't leave: transfer ownership in People first, or delete the workspace in Data.
